  • Is there a specific epithet, slang term or curse word that you absolutely cannot stand?


    I'm probably being completely generic when I say this but I hate hate hate when I hear someone talking and every other word is a curse word.  It's unnecessary and ignorant. 

    I was in Best Buy one day and some guy was looking at some laptops behind me.  He pointed to a laptop and said, "Look at this shit.  This shits good."
    It's called a laptop idiot.  Or computer.  Or notebook.  Several choices there.... "shit" is not one of them.
    It's just incredibly obnoxious to me. 

    I then repeated this sentence to my then boyfriend in a "how stupid does this sound" way and he looked at me like I was terrible...or like he was incredibly disappointed in my use of such foul language.
    That also annoyed me. 
    I don't curse for the mere fact that I don't like the image that is attached to it and frankly, it usually just sounds stupid.  But I'm not the Christian who won't make a joking comment like that.  Loosen up.
